How is the required final score calculated?
Needed = (target − current × (1 − weight)) ÷ weight. With an 85% now, a 90% goal and a final worth 25%, you need (90 − 85 × 0.75) ÷ 0.25 = 105%.
What if the final is worth 50%?
Enter 50 as the weight. The more the final is worth, the more it can move your grade in either direction.
